TLN/VVN Educational Videos

Raising awareness among students about the dangers of blind spots around large vehicles, and teaching them how to stay safe near trucks.

Background

“Travel Safe! Stay out of the blind spot” is a joint initiative by Transport and Logistics Netherlands (TLN) and Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN). The goal is to improve road safety by educating students about the risks associated with truck blind spots. Each year, around 50,000 students take part in this educational program, which includes both theoretical and hands-on learning components.

Objective

Develop a modern, humorous, and realistic educational video that engages students interactively, helping them understand how to stay safe around large vehicles. It’s essential that the tone and visual style resonate with the everyday world of the target audience.

Tone & Style

While the content remains largely the same, the style and relatability are key. We aim for a tone that feels grown-up, but with a playful wink that makes it approachable for children. It’s important that the presenter feels authentic—someone kids look up to and want to learn from.
